Juno vs the Ducks

TLDR; A space invader clone. Download the Windows version for some extra cool particle effects!

Controls:

You can use the onscreen buttons to play the game or use the following keymaps
A/<- to move left
D/-> to move right
Spacebar to fire a rocket
Esc to pause the game

Avoid the Ducks attacks and shoot them out of the sky with your rockets! Hit the supreme pig leader for massive points!

Long Version?
In the distant age of 2012, a battle occurred so fearsome that we all had to wipe out our minds clean of its memory. A mass men in black activity had made sure nobody remembers that one time when Juno saved the earth from the attacks of the flying ducks.

These ducks are a real menace to the society. Instead of being cute and cuddly, there do the opposite and poop eggs that explode faster than teens popping zits. And they were ruthless in their invasion. These ducks, led by their supreme leader, the teacup pig, cheater of death, child of oblivion, only known from that one how I met your mother episode, has come. Together, they harbor plans so malicious it makes Mokambo piss himself.

It was then, the world called upon its one true hero. Juno, the pug. First of the sleepers. Last of the wakers.  Will Juno be able to overcome the invasion? Find out, in the next episode of  Dragonball Z  your playthrough!


For Real?
A simple cookie-cutter project made following a Godot course. However, the pug sprites are my own and I am really proud of them! I did not expect to make a side view and walk cycles when I originally designed him but I think it turned out well!
